Ultimate event and the upcoming 'Chain Grab 2' tournament scheduled for May 21, 2023.

Super Smash Bros. Melee has a competitive scene that has stayed active for almost two decades since its release in 2001, and despite newer releases of the franchise, it maintains a devoted fan base and features prominently in major Esports events. Shield dropping is an advanced technique in the game that allows players to drop through a platform while still in their shield animation, useful for escaping pressure or punishing opponents on a platform. It requires practice and precision to master.
